While the eyes of the strongman world will be on Connecticut this weekend the ASC team looks forward to the international horizon while athletes plan to stake their claims.

The second leg of the Europa Get Fit & Sports Expo will take place this weekend in Hartford featuring the ASC Strongman Fitness® and Strongman Challenge. The contest will take place at the Connecticut Convention Center on Friday at 5 PM and conclude on Saturday at 11:00 AM where tickets and coupons will be available at the door.

Immediately following the Connecticut event, ASC president Dione Wessels will be traveling to China to support 105 Kg Pros Scott Porter, Zack McAllister and Jacob Bodi as they prepare to take the People’s Republic by storm over the July 4th Holiday. Meanwhile, here stateside athletes are preparing for the upcoming ASC/ NAS championship season. Current America’s Strongest Woman Kristen Rhodes is ready to repeat and wants to leave no doubt on who the woman to beat is. Check out Rhodes hitting an amazing 245 pound axle C & P.
