Dr. Don Rogers Presents The 2012 Masters America’s Strongest Man

The contest will be held in Kokomo Indiana on June 30^th. It will be part of the Haynes Apperson festival. The show will begin at 4 pm and last until 6:30 pm. The contest will have 6 disciplines and they will be the Log press medley, Farmers walk, Yoke walk, Train wheel deadlift, Conan’s wheel, and the Loading medley.

To qualify for the Masters division of the American Strongman Corporation one must hold an ASC Pro card in either the 231 class or the open heavy weight division and be 40 years of age.

Kokomo has always been a major player in the world of US strength athletics. The first sanctioned event in Kokomo started in 1994. The Central USA Strongman Challenge, Indiana Strongest Man, The American Hercules, The Back Alley Challenge, 2001 America’s Strongest Man, and now the Masters are all proud to be a part of strength athletics in the USA and of Kokomo.

Kokomo has not only been the location of some of the finest shows in the history of the sport, but also the training place of 9 of the 10 of Indiana’s Pro Strongmen.
